Aesthetic Dentistry

A naturally radiant smile always leaves a lasting positive impression.

However, cavities, discolored or worn teeth, misalignments, and irregularities can significantly affect the overall appearance of your smile.

Comprehensive Solutions for Dental Issues

To permanently address such problems, a dental procedure is often required – with the goal of achieving a healthy and aesthetically pleasing oral condition. Functionality and a natural look go hand in hand.

Modern Treatment Methods

Aesthetic dental treatments include:

● Orthodontic corrections

● Teeth whitening

● Combined restorations

● Porcelain veneers

● Zirconium crowns

● Laser applications

● High-quality implant procedures

All performed with professional care and precision.

Gum Aesthetics Matter Too

Aesthetic dentistry focuses not only on the teeth but also on the gums.

● Dark pigmentation, which can occur in certain skin types, can be treated effectively.

● Reconstructing receded gums also enhances lip shape and contributes to a balanced facial appearance.

Interdisciplinary Approach

Achieving the best results often requires collaboration among various specialists – including dentists, periodontists, and plastic surgeons. Together, they create a harmonious and natural look tailored to the individual.

More Than Just Aesthetics

A successful dental and oral treatment has far-reaching effects:

● It boosts self-confidence

● Enhances the beauty of your smile

● Supports emotional well-being

● Ultimately improves overall quality of life

Porcelain Laminate Veneers

White Teeth with Porcelain Veneers

Minor imperfections, gaps between teeth or slight misalignments can now be corrected in a gentle and modern way. Porcelain veneers – ultra-thin shells made of high-quality ceramic – can address all these concerns at once. These innovative veneers, also known as Lumineers, will make your smile shine like never before.

Veneers for Crowns and Bridges

Our porcelain veneers are only about 0.3 to 0.5 mm thin and adapt perfectly to the natural shape of your teeth. Unlike traditional versions, they can often be applied quickly and easily – without the need to grind down the teeth. The color is individually matched to your natural tooth shade. They can also be applied to existing crowns and bridges, blending seamlessly into your dental arch.

Traditional Veneers vs. Porcelain Veneers

Conventional veneers are typically around 1.5 mm thick and require the removal of healthy tooth enamel. Porcelain veneers often eliminate the need for this step, preserving your natural tooth structure entirely. They are ideal for cosmetic corrections such as discoloration, slight misalignments or gaps. For more severe misalignments, however, orthodontic treatment is recommended.

Treatment Process – Gentle and Effective

The treatment with porcelain veneers is completely pain-free. No drilling or anesthesia is required. A digital scan of your teeth is taken first. The veneers are then custom-made and bonded to the front surfaces of your teeth using a strong, durable adhesive technique. Your full chewing and biting function remains intact.

Implants

Implant Treatment

Losing a tooth affects not only your smile but can also cause problems with your confidence, eating, digestion, and speaking.

Before the 1980s, missing teeth were usually replaced with dental bridges. This meant grinding down at least two nearby teeth. Today, implants are a better option. These are artificial titanium roots placed directly into the jawbone without harming the neighboring teeth.

On these implants, natural-looking porcelain crowns are attached that work and look like real teeth.

Advantages of Implant Treatment

No harm to neighboring teeth: Teeth next to the gap stay healthy because they don’t need to be prepared.

Jawbone stays healthy: The bone where the tooth is missing stays strong and does not shrink.

Easier to clean: Taking care of implants is simpler than cleaning bridges.

Crowns placed individually: Each crown is put in separately, just like natural teeth.

Better fit for dentures: Implants help dentures fit more securely, especially in the lower jaw.

Requirements for Implant Treatment

● Good overall health

● Age of the patient

● Size of the missing tooth gap

● Enough bone volume

● Good bone quality

● Good oral hygiene

● Smoking habits

Preparation and Implementation

Preparation and Implementation Phases of the Implant

The Patient’s Health Status

Patients should inform the clinic if they have any serious organ diseases. In such cases, the current health condition must be carefully assessed before the procedure. Treatment is only recommended when the patient is in a stable general condition. Any known drug allergies must also be reported, so that medications can be selected accordingly.

Intraoral and Radiographic Examination

The teeth, the condition of the gums, and the bone structure in the area of the missing tooth are thoroughly examined. The way the teeth come together when biting (occlusion) is also checked to ensure optimal results.

Preparation of Temporary Dentures

These are fixed or removable prosthetic teeth that temporarily replace the missing teeth until the final abutments and crowns are placed.

Implant Placement

After local anesthesia, a small incision is usually made over the implant site, and the implant is inserted into the prepared bone socket. If the procedure can be performed without an incision (flapless technique), the gum tissue remains intact. When an incision is made, the area is sutured after the implant is placed.

Postoperative Care

The first week after implant placement is crucial for healing. During this period, special mouth rinses should be used, and prescribed antibiotics taken regularly. In the first 24 hours, the area should be gently cooled from the outside with ice packs at regular intervals. Hot drinks and solid foods should be avoided during this initial phase.

Implants are artificial roots made of titanium, a biocompatible material that usually bonds well with the jawbone. However, in rare cases, rejection can occur — for example, due to poor oral hygiene, heavy smoking, or certain pre-existing medical conditions.
According to the studies, the dental bleaching is safe and effective enough when it is done under a doctor's care. Teeth and gingiva are not damaged at all.
The success rate of implant treatment after prior periodontal therapy is just as high as in patients without periodontal disease.
There is no strict age limit for healthy patients. However, implants should only be placed after puberty is complete. It is also important that the bone condition is sufficient and there are no other health issues.

Porcelain Crowns

Crowns should be placed after the healing period of 3 months.

Porcelain crowns are high-quality, metal-free dental restorations that closely match the natural color of your teeth. They offer an aesthetic and long-lasting solution for damaged teeth. Porcelain is biocompatible and mimics the light-reflecting properties of natural enamel, providing a very lifelike appearance. Using advanced CAD/CAM technology, each crown is precisely crafted and individually customized for a perfect fit and optimal comfort.

Advantages of Porcelain Crowns

Natural, tooth-like translucency and color: They blend seamlessly with your natural teeth for a beautiful result.

Metal-free and highly biocompatible: Ideal for patients with metal sensitivities or allergies.

Ideal for front teeth due to excellent aesthetics: Especially suitable for visible areas of the smile.

Custom-made with CAD/CAM technology for precision and comfort: Ensures a perfect fit tailored to your dental anatomy.

Long-lasting and well tolerated by the gums: Durable solution that maintains oral health and comfort.

Zirconia Crowns

Zirconia crowns are made from zirconium dioxide, a high-strength ceramic material.

Nowadays, aesthetic white dental restorations are increasingly preferred as they are both naturally durable and extremely long-lasting. Additionally, they are made entirely from materials that are safe for health.

A method developed a few years ago in dental technology is the use of zirconium. The advantages of this ceramic material include its high strength, the white color that matches natural teeth, and its very good biocompatibility. These properties combine with comparatively low costs.

Advantages of Zirconia Crowns:

  • ○ White, natural appearance with high durability
  • ○ Simple and straightforward dental restoration process as well as comfortable to wear
  • ○ Significantly reduced sensitivity to heat and cold
  • ○ Fully biocompatible – no allergic reactions

At our dental clinic, we use the most professional manufacturing method for dental restorations: computer-aided CAD/CAM technology. After tooth preparation, the teeth are molded and temporarily restored. Then, an individual model based on the mold is created.

A special scanner digitizes the prepared model of the teeth. The collected data is used as a precise template for a state-of-the-art zirconium manufacturing machine. This creates a dental restoration that impresses with perfect fit, exact margins, and aesthetic finish.

When producing bridges or crowns, the data is also sent directly from the computer to our in-house lab. There, using advanced technology, a ceramic crown or bridge is precisely milled and fabricated from a zirconium oxide blank.

Bleaching

Teeth Whitening – Gently Achieve a Bright White Smile

White and flawless teeth have always been considered a symbol of beauty. However, regular dental care is not always enough to maintain a naturally bright smile. Stains caused by coffee, tea, nicotine, or wine can be difficult to remove with brushing alone.

We offer safe and effective whitening methods that gently brighten your teeth – helping you regain a radiant, confident smile.

Teeth Whitening and Professional Dental Cleaning – A Perfect Combination

A professional dental cleaning removes plaque and stains and already brightens the teeth slightly. After the procedure, teeth feel smooth and clean.

However, this alone may not always achieve the desired whitening effect. For a visibly whiter smile, additional bleaching can be performed – lightening the teeth by several shades.

Power Bleaching at the Clinic

Power bleaching is performed exclusively in the clinic under the supervision of a dentist. After a professional cleaning, a special bleaching gel is applied to the teeth and activated using a light lamp. This lamp accelerates the whitening process, so you can leave the clinic with a radiant smile in just one to two hours. Depending on your individual habits and lifestyle, the result can last between one and two years.

Laser Bleaching at the Clinic

As a particularly gentle and effective alternative, we offer laser bleaching. In this method, a special whitening gel is applied to the teeth and activated with laser light. The laser enhances the effect of the gel, resulting in fast and long-lasting whitening. The treatment is painless, protects the enamel, and takes only a few minutes.

Home Bleaching

Home bleaching offers a convenient option for use at home. For this method, we create a custom-fitted tray, which is filled with a special whitening gel. You wear the tray daily for 3 to 4 hours over several weeks to achieve a gentle and lasting whitening effect.

Dental bleaching is suitable for teenagers and adults with good oral health. Before undergoing treatment, issues such as cavities, enamel abrasions, or gum disease should be treated, as these conditions can increase tooth sensitivity during whitening.
This procedure is particularly effective for teeth with yellow discoloration. The degree of whitening achieved depends on the original shade of the teeth and may vary from person to person.
Yes, studies have shown that dental bleaching is both safe and effective when performed under professional supervision. It does not harm the teeth or gums.

What modern bleaching methods are available?

Today, three main bleaching methods are commonly used:

  • ○ Home Bleaching:
Custom-made plastic trays are filled with bleaching gel and worn at home for 30 minutes to 2 hours daily, depending on the degree of discoloration. The treatment typically lasts 1–2 weeks. Alternatively, the gel can be applied directly to the teeth using a thin brush, which is especially simple and flexible.
  • ○ In-Office Bleaching:
This procedure is performed by the dentist in the clinic. A special gel is applied to the teeth and activated using a specialized light. Mild to moderate discoloration can be noticeably lightened in about an hour. For stronger discoloration, in-office bleaching is often combined with home bleaching.
  • ○ Laser Bleaching:
A highly gentle and effective method, where a special bleaching gel is activated with laser light. This provides rapid and long-lasting whitening results, often in just a single session at the clinic.
Bleached teeth will always remain whiter than they were before the treatment. However, the long-term results depend on the success of the initial bleaching and personal habits. Consumption of coffee, tea, red wine, smoking, and poor oral hygiene can cause discoloration to return over time. Depending on the severity, one or two follow-up treatments may be necessary.
To prolong the whitening effect, whitening toothpastes and brush-on whitening pens can be used after the procedure. The results can last as long as good oral hygiene is maintained. However, frequent consumption of staining substances such as tea, coffee, and red wine, as well as smoking, may gradually reduce the whitening effect.

Pink Aesthetics

Pink Aesthetics – Healthy Gums for a Perfect Smile

A bright smile and a harmonious overall appearance are not only about white teeth – the gums also play a crucial role. Without healthy gums, the desire for an attractive smile remains unfulfilled.

The Importance of Pink Aesthetics

So-called pink aesthetics have become just as important as dazzling white teeth or perfectly crafted restorations. Experts agree: healthy and well-contoured gums form the foundation for optimal oral aesthetics.

Healthy Gums as the Foundation

Whether it's natural teeth or dental restorations – the gums serve as the supportive base for a stable and attractive set of teeth. Regular, personalized prophylaxis plays a key role in maintaining gum health.

What if Gum Recession or Inflammation Occurs?

In cases of advanced inflammation or early gum recession, modern periodontology offers effective treatments. These therapies help heal the gums and support the regeneration of lost bone and connective tissue.

Aesthetic Treatments for Receding Gums

Various aesthetic and surgical procedures can be performed on the gums (the periodontal area) to correct gum recession. These targeted treatments restore the balance between teeth and gums, significantly improving the overall appearance of the smile.

CAD / CAM

CAD / CAM – Precision through Digital Technology

3D CAD/CAM technology is the most advanced method for producing highly aesthetic and functionally perfect all-ceramic restorations. It combines digital precision with state-of-the-art dental craftsmanship.

Accurate Scanning with 3D Technology

A computer-controlled 3D scanner captures a complete model of your teeth. Each individual tooth is digitally analyzed using millions of measurement points – ensuring a highly accurate representation of your dental situation.

Digital 3D Model for a Perfect Fit

The collected data is used to create a digital 3D model that serves as the basis for your restoration. This digital blueprint allows for a design precisely tailored to your tooth structure – both functionally and aesthetically.

Modeling with Advanced CAD System

The gathered measurements are then processed using specialized software and algorithms. The CAD system (Computer-Aided Design) converts the data into highly detailed 3D surfaces. This forms the foundation for a custom-made restoration – crafted with maximum precision and quality.
